The Ask
Needed to build a continuous talent pipeline of early-level Data Scientists to meet demand of ongoing projects.
It was challenging to find the right talent during the global talent crunch.
High attrition rate was making it difficult to manage manpower and retain knowledge.
Solution
Our Market Intelligence report showed that relying only on traditional recruitment channels would result in a bottleneck.
We decided to recruit fresh IT engineers from colleges, assess them in basic Java & SQL, and then train the passing candidates in our customized 8-Week Data Science Program, that was conducted in a hybrid (Virtual + In Person) mode.
The theory v/s practical training ratio was 40:60 to ensure candidates got enough time to implement what they learnt.
